2JZ GTE Engine Block - 3D Scan
2JZ GTE Engine Block - 3D Scan
The 2JZ GTE block gets pushed further than almost any other. Everything you bolt to it has to be just as right.
This is a full 3D scan of the bare 2JZ GTE engine block, delivered as an STL for your CAD or reverse-engineering software. Use it to design dry sump and wet sump pans, engine mounts, turbo oil and water fittings, and anything else that has to bolt to or clear the block.
Big power builds stack brackets, lines and fittings around the block, and every one of them has to clear the casting. The scan gives you the real bosses, flanges and hole positions in one file.
Scanned in-house by Ichiban Engineering, a CNC shop in Bangkok. Volumetric accuracy is 0.1 mm.
This is a raw scan mesh. It's not watertight and not a solid CAD model, so model over it rather than machining from it. The water jacket passages inside the casting aren't captured.
