2JZ GTE VVTi Intake Plenum - 3D Scan
2JZ GTE VVTi Intake Plenum - 3D Scan
The 2JZ GTE VVTi got its own plenum. Parts drawn from the Non VVTi one won't line up, so start from the right casting.
This is a full 3D scan of the bare OEM 2JZ GTE VVTi intake plenum, delivered as an STL for your CAD or reverse-engineering software. Use it to design fabricated plenums that keep the factory mounting points, throttle body adapters and anything that has to clear the VVTi intake.
Every flange and mounting boss on this plenum is where it sits on a VVTi engine, so adapters and brackets drawn from it fit the car they're going on.
Scanned in-house by Ichiban Engineering, a CNC shop in Bangkok. Volumetric accuracy is 0.1 mm.
This is a raw scan mesh. It's not watertight and not a solid CAD model, so model over it rather than machining from it. The outside is captured, but the inside of the plenum isn't.
