Clear covers, cam gear windows and billet replacements all start from the same factory shell. This is the VVTi one.

This is a full 3D scan of the OEM 2JZ VVTi upper front timing cover, delivered as an STL for your CAD or reverse-engineering software. The same cover is used on the GE and the GTE, so one file covers both. Use it to design clear or carbon covers, cam gear inspection windows and replacement covers that bolt to the factory points.

VVTi and Non VVTi covers aren't the same part. If you're fitting adjustable cam gears to a VVTi engine, this scan shows exactly how much room the factory cover leaves, and where it runs out.

Scanned in-house by Ichiban Engineering, a CNC shop in Bangkok. Volumetric accuracy is 0.1 mm.

This is a raw scan mesh. It's not watertight and not a solid CAD model, so model over it rather than machining from it.
