4G63 Engine Block - 3D Scan
4G63 Engine Block - 3D Scan
Whatever car the 4G63 is going into, the mounts, sump and brackets all start at the block. Measure them from the real casting.
This is a full 3D scan of the bare 4G63 engine block from the Evo 4-9, delivered as an STL for your CAD or reverse-engineering software. Use it to design sumps and baffles, engine mounts, turbo oil feed and return fittings, and anything else that has to bolt to or clear the block.
The flanges, bosses and threaded holes sit at angles that a tape measure can't reach. The scan has all of them in one file, so your first bracket bolts on instead of going back to the mill.
Scanned in-house by Ichiban Engineering, a CNC shop in Bangkok. Volumetric accuracy is 0.1 mm.
This is a raw scan mesh. It's not watertight and not a solid CAD model, so model over it rather than machining from it. The water jacket passages inside the casting aren't captured.
